Introduction

Welcome to Kalra Travels. We request all customers to kindly read and understand our terms and conditions before making any booking. These terms are established to ensure smooth operations and the safety of all passengers. By confirming a booking with us, you agree to abide by the following terms:

1. Booking & Payment Terms

  • A minimum of 30% of the total booking amount is required as an advance to confirm your reservation.
  • The full payment must be completed prior to the start of the journey. Failure to clear the dues may result in trip cancellation without refund.
  • All payments made are non-refundable, including the advance amount, in case of cancellation by the customer.

2. Vehicle Operations

  • Air Conditioning (AC) will be switched on 15 minutes before departure and will not function for more than 10 minutes while the vehicle is stationary.
  • In the event of a mechanical failure or mishappening, Kalra Travels reserves the right to replace the vehicle or cancel the booking as necessary.
  • In case of excessive delay or loss caused to the operator due to the customer’s actions, a delay charge of ₹10,000 will be applicable.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • No refund will be provided on cancellation once the booking is confirmed.
  • Kalra Travels reserves the right to cancel any booking in case of unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control. In such cases, we will attempt to offer a replacement vehicle or suitable alternative.

4. Passenger Conduct

  • Smoking, drinking alcohol, or any form of intoxication is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
  • We request all passengers to cooperate respectfully with our staff. Any misbehavior may result in immediate cancellation of service without refund.
  • Our team is committed to serving you with the highest standards of professionalism, and we appreciate your full cooperation and courteous behavior in return.

5. Luggage & Belongings

  • All personal belongings and luggage are the sole responsibility of the passenger/party. Kalra Travels is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of luggage during the journey.
  • Any banned, illegal, or government-prohibited items found in luggage are the responsibility of the passenger, and Kalra Travels will not be held accountable under any circumstances.
  • Passengers are requested not to carry flammable items or goods that may cause inconvenience or risk during travel.

6. Liability & Force Majeure

  • Kalra Travels is not liable for any delay, loss, or damage caused by natural calamities, strikes, traffic, political unrest, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
  • In such cases, we will do our best to provide alternate arrangements or reschedule the trip at a mutually convenient time.

This is an Agreement between You or the Entity that you represent ( hereinafter “You” or “Your” ) and Kalra Bus governing your use of our website, accessible at www.Kalra Travels.in. These terms will be applied fully and affect your use of this website. By using this website, you agreed to accept all terms and conditions written here. You must not use this website if you disagree with any of these website standard terms and conditions.

Intellectual Property Rights

Other than the content you own, under these terms, the company owns all the intellectual property rights and materials contained in this website. You are granted a limited license only for purposes of viewing the material contained on this website.

Restrictions

You are specifically restricted from all of the following:

  • Publishing any Website material in any other media selling, sublicensing and/or otherwise commercializing any Website material.

  • Publicly performing and/or showing any Website material using this website in any way that is or may be damaging to this website.

  • Using this website in any way that impacts user access to this website

  • If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein. Using this Website contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in any way may cause harm to the website, or any person or business entity

  • Engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting, or any other similar activity concerning this website

  • Using this website to engage in any advertising or marketing certain areas of this website are restricted from being accessed by you, and the operator may further restrict access by you to any areas of this website, at any time, in absolute discretion. Any user ID and password you may have for this Website are confidential and you must maintain confidentiality as well.

Customer Grievances and Readdress Policy

To ensure smooth cancellation and less hassle for our riders, Kalra Travels ensures that you are able to cancel your ride in case of emergencies and save your money.

We have defined our cancellation policies below. After reading them, you can understand how the cancellation policies work according to the time of cancellation.

Less than 4 hours from the station departure time: 100% Cancellation Charges

Between 4 Hrs to 24 Hrs from the station departure time: 0% Cancellation Charges

Between 1 to 30 days before station departure time: 0% Cancellation Charges

Payment For Booking And Any Additional Charges

FULL PAYMENT: Payment may be made in full amount to SimplyTrip during the booking. Such total booking amount includes the base fare, applicable taxes including GST as may be applicable as per local laws, and any additional booking fee, service fee or convenience fee charged by SimplyTrip.

PARTIAL PAYMENT: Under this option User has to make payment of a partial amount as specified at the time of booking / in the booking voucher and pay the balance amount within a specified time period as informed the time of booking / in the booking voucher. Failure to pay such a balance amount within the stipulated time will lead to cancellation of the booking and any refund will be subject to the booking/ cancellation policy. In some cases, the customer may be allowed to make the balance payment at the start of the trip.

PAY AT BUS: Under this option the User has to pay a certain part of the booking amount specified at the time of booking / in the booking confirmation voucher to SimplyTrip and the balance to the vehicle operator at the start of the trip.

Expenses like toll charges, permit charges, parking charges, entry fees, Service Tax & any other Government Tax as per Government guidelines are to be borne by the User and paid directly to the driver, wherever applicable.

The excess Driver Bata wherever applicable has to be paid directly to the driver.

End User may opt for Insurance while booking. Such Insurance will be provided entirely by a third party and Kalra Travels in no way will be a party to any such claims or concerns on the matter.

  • No Warranties: This website is provided “as is,” with all faults, and the operator expresses no representations or warranties, of any kind related to this website or the materials contained on this website. Also, nothing contained on this website shall be interpreted as advising you.
  • Limitation of Liability: In no event shall the company, nor any of its officers, directors, and employees, shall be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this Website whether such liability is under contract. The company, including its officers, directors, and employees shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential, or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this website.
  • Variation of Terms: Kalra Bus is permitted to revise these terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this website you are expected to review these terms regularly.
  • Indemnification: You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent the company from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages, and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.
  • Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
  • Variation of Terms: The Company is permitted to revise these terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this website you are expected to review these terms regularly.
  • Assignment: The company is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these terms.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the company and you concerning your use of this website and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
